Our Core Beliefs
Infallible Word of God: We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God written by men moved by the Holy Ghost (1 peter 1:21). These men influenced by the Holy Ghost wrote that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary as the only begotten Son of God, the Father full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
Jesus is the Son of God: We believe that God is spirit, infinite in power, Holy in nature, Holy in attributes and purposes, omniscient and omnipresent (Ephesians 4:1-6). This spirit was revealed to us in its comforting grace, which never leaves those who trust in Him (Titus 2:11-14). We believe that in Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. He, Jesus, is the Son of the Living God (Colossians 1:12-20).
The Infilling of the Spirit of God: We believe in the Death, the Burial, and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-9). Once Jesus ascended into heaven, he sent the Comforter from the Father to those who believe. This is the Spirit of truth which was poured out at Jerusalem over nineteen hundred years ago and is still filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him (John 15:26, Acts 2:4).
Baptism and Regeneration of God: We believe that through obedience of the baptism by immersion with water calling on the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, remits our sins, and by the receiving of the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues (an unlearned language: glossolalia) as the Holy Spirit gives utterance constitutes the "New Birth" (Acts 2:38).
Imminent Rapture of the Saints: We believe in a sanctified (separated) life (Hebrews 12:14); we believe in divine healing (James 5:14); we believe in communion and washing of the feet for the remembrance of His sacrifice (John 13:4, 17; Corinthians 10:23-28); we also believe that those who walk in His truth will be "caught-up" to meet Jesus in the heavens (rapture) (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17).
Committed to the Worship of God: We believe that while we dwell on earth that we should assemble ourselves together for the sake of worshiping the Lord Jesus, evangelize to the unrepentant and train the communicants of God for service (Hebrews 10:25; Ephesians 4:11-13). We believe that all can be saved!
